Hear Rev. Colette's sermon in which she finishes the sentence, "The kingdom of heaven is like..."  This sermon will touch everyone, and especially dog lovers, who know the unconditional love that they get from their pet - regardless of how they dress, what they do and whether they're rich or poor. This is how God loves us. This is the kingdom of heaven, and in that place there is no fear.

Prayer bulletin... We ask your prayers for the people of Burma, China and Zimbabwe.

Get to know St. Stephen's Church!

Read our "Parish Profile" (left) for a comprehensive look at our church, its ministries and diverse worship community.

In the words of parishioner, Joan Nelson, "St. Stephen's is high on a hill, but down to earth." All are welcome! Join us at our 10 a.m. worship service.

Read about the founding of St. Stephen's Church in "So Worship We God", a collection of historical essays (below left), assembled by the Centennial History Committee (Dick Avery, Willoughby Hood, Ed Lincoln, Dave Pottenger and John Gallop).

After he laid the corner stone, Bishop William Lawrence wrote about our church: "In architecture and material it forms an integral part of the rock which dominates the town and which for solidity and beauty and the spirit of romance is beyond any church that I know in the country."

Copies of this book are available at the back of the church.
